The main characteristics of Hairpin AC asynchronous motors are:
1. Slot filling rate:
The effective copper area of the hairpin motor can be increased by more than 30%6while the traditional motor's effective copper slot filling rate is only about 60%, and the hairpin motor can achieve about 90%. Among, them, the copper loss ofthe winding accountsfor about 5096, and the size of the copper loss is directly proportional to the windingresistance. Reducing, the winding, resistance can directly reduce the copper loss, improve theefficiency and power density of the motor, and increase the doubling, power of the motor, whichcan reach 2.5 times the rated power.
2.Heat dissipation
The winding has a large surface area and a large heat dissipation area; The contact areabetween turns of the winding is larger, resulting in better heat conduction; The gap betweeneach turn of the winding, is small, resulting in better heat conduction; The contact betweenthe winding and the iron core groove is good, resulting in better heat conduction; Throughtemperature field simulation, the winding, temperature rise of a flat copper wire motor withthe same design is 20%6 lower than that of a round copper wire motor.
3. End of winding
The end structure of the coil is more compact, and compared to the scattered embeddedwinding,the height of the end is much lower.
4.Volume
The diameter of the hairpin motor is reduced by 10-159 compared to the circular wiremotor, and the axial length is reduced by 15%. The power density has significantly increasedThe disadvantage of hairpin motors is that they use more copper than circular wiremotors, making them suitable for low voltage and high current motors.
5.Craftsmanship
The manufacturing process of the hairpin stator: wire forming of the hairpin winding – inserting paper into the stator slot -inserting, the hairpin winding – twistingthe tail end of the hairpin winding – flat end of the tail end of the hairpin winding -welding the tail end of the hairpin winding- insulation treatment of the hairpin- lead out treatment.
There are many processes, specialized equipment, and fixtures, with high precisionrequirements for each step of processing, low fault tolerance, high scrap rate, and highcomprehensive production costs.
6,Characteristics
Compared with circular wire motors, the same power series pin issuance has extremely low failure rate, fast output power burst response speed, more stable performance, smaller size,lower motor temperature, and lower low-temperature starting temperature, making it suitablefor low voltage and high current applications.
